Two different businesses, located within separate communities in East Ayrshire, have recently joined forces to provide complementary products, all offered with the same friendly and helpful service.

A WHEELY GOOD DAY!

East Ayrshire’s Learning Disability Partnership, ‘VIP Partners’, held a special Bike Day and VIP Cafe in support of Learning Disability Awareness Week recently.

VIP Partners, a family carers’ action forum, held ‘Funky Bike Day 3’ at the North West Kilmarnock Area Centre, which saw some specially adapted bikes being whizzed round the room by some experienced (and some non-experienced!) drivers. QUEEN’S BADGE PRESENTATION

Provost Stephanie Young was invited along to a special Boys’ Brigade presentation recently in Galston.

Six members of East Ayrshire’s battalion received the Queen’s Badge which is the highest award that may be gained by a member of the Boys’ Brigade. The Queen’s Badge is a balanced programme which provides opportunities for members to develop some of their skills and interests and try out new things.

A76 Mauchline: £1.6m Essential Reconstruction Project Begins

Essential reconstruction works in the village of Mauchline get underway on Monday 12 July for 10 weeks. This £1.6m Transport Scotland investment, designed by trunk road managers Amey, will see the delivery of 1.7km of resurfacing, drainage and landscaping works on this busy section of the A76.
