We continue to give priority to burst pipes and the reinstatement of heating systems.
Building and Works Staff have worked from 8 am-7 pm each day this week. It is likely we will continue with increased resources over the weekend, to address any backlog or handle emergencies.
Five teams have been prioritised to carry out repairs in properties where there has been damage caused by burst pipes. Priority will be given to homes with elderly or vulnerable residents.

The helpline is still busy with many calls, but we have halved the number of gas central heating jobs we are dealing with today, compared to yesterday. We are also working hard to fix a large number of burst pipes, mainly in the Kilmarnock area, due to the thaw. We continue to supply water to residents in need.
In Cumnock area however, many water pipes remain frozen and snow is still lying. Snow is forecast for Dalmellington area this afternoon.

Our helpline contiunes to receive a huge volume of calls in relation to frozen pipes, frozen waste pipes and problems with gas central heating.
We have a large volume of call-outs relating to gas central heating and have 27 engineers on the road, working to resolve the problems.

Our helpline is receiving an unprecedented volume of calls in relation to frozen pipes, frozen waste pipes and problems with gas central heating.
We have over 70 employees on the road attending to these problems. Priority is being given to burst pipes in the home and also to central heating repairs where the resident is elderly or vulnerable.
